Coronavirus is taking a big toll on the economy. I rent rooms to various people. Most of them are foreigners. They work at restaurants, fast foods, construction and similar. Some drive for Uber or Taxify, and now their world stopped crashing down like a huge meteor. They feel devasted.
I am OK since they have to pre-pay for a stay, I am just enjoying the time and at the same time, it is hard to look at them and worrying.
This is getting huge world is panicking and at the same time, I know something great will come out of this.
I know if I play short companies Like Uber or any automaker, basically any kind of store or mall owners will lose billions of $ Apple already did report huge losses in sold products in China now many EU countries also is shutting down stores so we know for sure, no sales no profits, which means a big drop in the price of those stocks.
Now is time to sell basically everything but grocery markets.
Airlines, transportation industry, and all companies which sell direct not on the line. I think many delivery companies will make huge profits at the same time this epidemic is still just begging of the huge downfall. Banks and lending companies will drop significantly.
Of course, this will eventually end and new opportunities will pop up like flowers in the spring

Actually WHO should be upheld as the one who did add to the spread of the Wuhan virus. In the beginning, instead of taking radical steps, they did applaud China government and did cover up how dangerous the virus is.
