Mr. Gates, you are one of the richest men in the world. You should know better. This is total crap. Read Ayn Rand, learn what capitalism means. The governments do not serve the purpose to enslave their own citizens, to force their own people to be dependent on government policies and regulations. This kind of government is called a communist. The USA is supposed to be a leader in creating an opportunity for entrepreneurs, create an environment for the development of ideas and business. The role of government is to protect own citizen not to press them with unreasonable regulation high taxes and unfair conditions where only very rich can afford to stay in Business. You ought to go back to school and learn what the word entrepreneur means. You should study Atlas Shrugged and accept that small business is the backbone of our society. Your ideas are so far away from this reality we have to live in. Since you d, you should not advise average man how to live not understand the meaning of word money, poverty, hard work, discrimination, and much more. Those incredibly stupid ideas you represent here will raise the cost of energy and cost of living to another level. Try to think as average Joe, like when you were just starting your own business. If the USA rise the cost of energy, and only 10% of the world population can afford those cost what would happen with the 90%. The poor countries will get poorer, people around the world will lose their jobs and ability to provide their families with basics. This will force them to migrate to wealthy countries, this encourages them to join various fanatic groups to fight America because America is hurting them. When I came to the USA I did work for 90$ a week plus room and board. In just 3 months I did save 1000$ and it was enough to buy an Oldsmobile Omega and move to Chicago, where my first wage was 3$, and it was enough to save money and go to college, and that only 1985. A few years later I did employ 100 union workers in the construction field. New regulations will close down thousands of small businesses, will force millions of people worldwide to go hungry and homeless. This will lead to wars and migrations. For the sake of humankind retire, move-in Montana or whatever place you choose, and let us live as we want to. Fewer rules and regulations, less bureaucracy, less involvement in every aspect of our life, No more censorship, no more forcing stupid and unjustified ideas. I know you do not care, you and few others like you do not care about the human life, about the world all you care about is how to preserve your own lifestyle at cost of the rest of the world.
